Semax 10 mg
Semax is a synthetic regulatory heptapeptide with the amino-acid sequence Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro. Its structure combines the ACTH(4–7) fragment with the C-terminal tripeptide Pro-Gly-Pro.
In laboratory research, Semax has been investigated in connection with neuronal signaling, neurotrophic pathways, gene-expression changes and cellular responses associated with nervous-system models. Published experimental work has examined its relationship with BDNF/TrkB signaling and changes in the expression of genes involved in neural and immune-cell activity.
Each vial contains 10 mg of lyophilized Semax research material and is supplied in the standard Dexa Research transparent 3 mL vial.
